Annie's Green Christmas

No worries, I gave my sissy a green Christmas too! Here's a series of pictures that show how excited she was to get a green Christmas...

Can't you feel the suspense? What did I get her?

No, not a rainbow...

Sweet! Victoria Secrets.... EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED.

Wait, not green?!!!?

hehe, I guess she doesn't like green as much as I do :D

Dreamin' of a Green Christmas

Of course Christmas is NOT about getting presents... but I do enjoy receiving them. This year, I don't know what caused everyone to think that "Green is My Favorite" pero muchas gracias para todos mis presentes verdes! So I thought I would dedicate this to the green items received...

Coach gave me a Coach :D

Kelf gave me Happy Feet!

Liem gave me real feet!

And I have to thank Annie for the cool stuff she gave me too... here's a show of one of em (A longhorn for Aretha!!!!)

I got some more cool stuff too, but this was dedicated to my "Green Christmas" so.... HOORAY FOR GREEN!!!

His Name Is...

His Name is Guam (pernounced with a "wh" sound).

So the man that has "that little something" is GUAM!!! We were on the elevator this past Friday and I got to say, "Hi" and ask him how his day was. I also managed to ask for his name. He shyly said what I thought was Juan. I repeated what I thought I heard and he said "Guam, G - U - A - M."

I didn't get a chance to say anything else because the elevator ride was over. I haven't seen him on the 13th floor lately, but I'm glad I got a chance to meet him. In hind sight, I'm sure he thought that might have been very peculiar. I hope he didn't think I was hitting on him :P

That Little Something

What happens when you don't make 6+ figures at your job? What if you're not even salary based and are a "disposable" employee? There are people I see everyday. Faces without names, but always a passing smile that is exchanged. Well there is one man in particular that I have much respect for. He's what we would call a custodian. He cleans out my trash can, vacuums my floor, makes sure I have enough paper towels in my bathroom, etc. etc...

He is so happy while he works. He always has a smile on his face and always says hi to me. Occassionally, he'll stop by the vending machine on my floor to grab a snack while he quickly has a mini-conversation with the other custodians.

I wonder if I would be happy doing his job. What if I weren't in a nice little suit, with a nice little everything? He always reminds me of how money isn't everything. How there is so much more to be grateful for in life, and how no matter your "status" you will always have an affect on those around you... good or bad.

There's a little something in him that makes him whistle while he's cleaning the mess I've made. He's got that spark... that little something... Sir, kudos to you.

Making the Band 3

So for all that didn't know... I'm an MTV junkie. I'm not sure if it's because I didn't grow up with cable but there are a few MTV shows I really enjoy. Since coming back home, I am again without cable. I really don't mind, but when I can't watch the finale of Making the Band 3... I can't handle it! So one of my most favorite people was kind enough to tape it for me. Congrats to Aubrey and Aundrea (who I think looks so much like Crew). I'm sure only Miss Moo can appreciate this post :D

Let's go make our own band.

Dry Cleaners, Part 2

Well, I've gone to these people twice. The first time, I was quite pleased. I was very impressed because the dry cleaning didn't cost me very much and they did a good job with my suits. So of course I used them again. However, this second time around, I feel like some of my suits "shrank." What is that all about? I thought they just used chemicals to "wipe" down my suit... not put them in a laundry type machine. Does anyone know? Is it possible for suits to shrink at the cleaners?!!!?
